Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in the cafeteria (for pizza) & gym (math stations) from 6:30-7:30PM.

Some of the raffle prizes include donations from these community businesses: COCA, C.J.Muggs, Jimmy Johns, White Castle, Pin-Up Bowling, and Pam's Chicago Style Dogs.

Kindergarten Picnic 2011

Ms. Dodge's and Ms. Hendrick's classes met Friday (May 20) for a fun end of the year picnic in Mooney Park. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed pizza, drinks and an absolutely perfect day. Several moms and dads were able to join them! As an extra special treat, Nola's father provided doughnuts as it was Nola's birthday!

You can contact the Safe Schools Hotline 24 hours a day, seven days a week, anonymously to report any gang or drug activity, weapons, physical abuse, violence or any other type of potental problem that may affect out children while at school, home or play.

Passport Night 2011

We need YOUR knowledge and experiences to make the 9th annual JP Passport Festival on the evening of Tuesday, February 8 (snow date Feb. 15) a success! passport nightVolunteer to present a table on a country you’ve visited, you or your ancestors came from, or one you simply have an interest in and want to share with JP students and their families. Displays can include photos, costumes, artwork, music, food, maps, games, activities, and just about anything that tells about that country.

During the Passport Festival, students and their families will “visit” each county, sample some food, do an activity, get their passports stamped and learn about the great wide world we live in!

Wanted: Gently Used Children's Books

The JP Reading Exchange table, located in the hallway across from the main entrance to the library, is in need of fresh stock! The exchange table holds books that students may take home, read, and return or keep if they like. Please take a moment to sort though your home library and bring any book donations to JP librarian Susan Renick.  Thanks!
